The XCT Research SA has the flexibility to be used for a variety of studies with a wide range of animals from rats to sheep. The SA system measures a wide range of sizes and thickness, from small excised rat bone to dog legs and primate forearms. Variable slice capacity allows you to scan the bone compartment of your choice without repositioning.
This increases speed due to greater throughput and decreases error caused by repositioning or partial volume effect.
